DAY 1 : HANOI (L + D)
Arrival in Hanoi. Collect from the Noi Bai airport and transfer to the hotel by private car with guide. Transfer to hotel with guide. Free time for rest. Lunch at a restaurant in the city. In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Literature (1st Vietnamese University, 11th century), the Museum of Ethnology, Tran Quoc pagoda, city tour by cyclo (1h) in the old quarters, passing by many small commercial streets carrying names of products sold there for you to get a feel of the life of the locals. Dinner on your own. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.
DAY 2 : HA NOI – HA LONG (B + L + D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Halong Bay (One of 7 New Wonders of Nature). Arrival in Halong and boarding on cruise. Lunch and dinner on board. Cruise on the emerald sea passing through countless mist-shrouded limestone islands. The balance of the junk on waves will put you easily to sleep and take you into dream! It cannot get any more idyllic than this! Overnight on board, anchored off in middle of the bay.
DAY 3 : HA LONG – HA NOI (BRUNCH + D)
Brunch on board (breakfast & lunch). Boat trip in Halong Bay with its many islands and islets in suggestive shape. Visit many caves and islands and possibility of swimming. Back at the pier and transfer to Ha Noi. Check-in the hotel. Dinner at a restaurant in the city. Overnight at the hotel in Hanoi.
DAY4 : HA NOI – LAO CAI – SA PA (B + L + D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart at 7am for Lao Cai, located et 320km from Hanoi, about 4 hours drive. On the way, stop at the border of Lao Cai (Vietnam) and Ha Khau (China) for photo-taking. Arrival in Lao Cai. Lunch at a local restaurant in Lao Cai. Then continuation to Sapa. Check-in the hotel. Free time for rest. Dinner at a restaurant in town. Overnight at the hotel in Sa Pa.
DAY5 : SA PA (B + L + D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Hiking off the beaten track to the ethnic villages Day and Black Hmong in Lao Chai and Ta Van to discover their cultures and tradition and hospitality. Enjoy the beautiful exotic landscapes along the Muong Hoa valley. Lunch at the local restaurant. Continue to visit this legendary city situated at a height of 1,500m above sea level, with a stop at the village of Hmong and Red Dao Ta Phin, located on the hillside among the green meadows. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel in Sapa.
DAY6 : SA PA – LAI CHAU (B + L + D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Lai Chau through beautiful mountain scenery. En route, visit Silver Waterfalls (Thac Bac). Next, visit the charming village of Binh Lu and discover the traditional houses of ethnic communities, and the market Binh Lu (only open on Thursday mornings). Lunch at a local restaurant in Tam Duong. Continuation to Lai Chau. Arrival at the hotel. Check-in. Dinner at A local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel in Lai Chau.
DAY7 : LAI CHAU – MUONG LAY – DIEN BIEN PHU (B + L + D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Dien Bien Phu about 200 km from Lai Chau. Stop en route to Muong Lay for lunch. Continue to Dien Bien Phu. On arrival, visit the Dien Bien Phu museum, A1 Hill, Bunker of Colonel de Castries. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel in Dien Bien Phu.
DAY8 : DIEN BIEN PHU – SON LA (B + L +D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Son La about 150 km from Dien Bien Phu. Stop en route on the Pha Din pass, one of the "four big passes" of the Northwest, which means the Sky and the Earth in Vietnamese, marks the border between the two elements. Arrive at Son La. Check-in the hotel. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the museum, the former Son La Penitentiary and the Tham Tet Toong Cave. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel in Son La.
DAY8 : SON LA – MOC CHAU – MAI CHAU (B + L + D)
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, visit Thuan Chau market. Then depart for Moc Chau plateau to visit green tea hills and meet the ethnic minorities of H'mong Bleus, Dao, Thai and Muong. Lunch at a local restaurant. Continue to Mai Chau. In the afternoon, visit the village of Ban Lac and Pom Coong hamlet found in the middle of the rice fields and rolling hills covered with giant bamboo. Dinner Show and overnight at the homestay (in stilt house) in Mai Chau.
DAY9 : MAI CHAU – HA NOI (B + L)
Breakfast at the hotel. Hiking through the rice fields to the village of Nhot Na Meo (Thai minority) located at the foot of the mountain. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, return to Hanoi. Stop en route to visit Van Phuc village which is known for the Ha Dong silk. Arrival in Hanoi. Check-in the hotel. Dinner at a restaurant in the city. Overnight at the hotel in Hanoi.
DAY11 : HA NOI – DEPARTURE (B + L + D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Free time until transfer to the Noi Bai airport for the return flight.
