DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL (L)
Arrival in Hanoi. Transfer to hotel with guide. Free time for rest. Lunch at restaurant. Afternoon, visit Tran Quoc pagoda, city tour by cyclo (1h) in the old quarters, passing by many small commercial streets carrying names of products sold there for you to get a feel of the life of the locals. Dinner on your own. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.
DAY 2: HANOI (B + L)
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, visit Hanoi and its cultural and historical riches: visit to the Museum of Ethnology, the Temple of Literature (1st Vietnamese University, 11th century), Lake of the Restored Sword. Lunch in the restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Ngoc Son temple, the unique Pillar Pagoda. Dinner on your own. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.
DAY 3: HANOI – HA GIANG (B + L + D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Ha Giang with guide. Ha Giang is one of the best destinations in Vietnam which has a landscape of limestone mountains shaped by time, green forests and 1000 species of medicinal plants - a truly isolated and intact world! On the way, stop by Tuyen Quang for rest and to have lunch. Continue to Ha Giang, passing by several mountains. Arrive in Ha Giang, check in hotel for rest after the long journey. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Ha Giang.
DAY 4: HA GIANG – QUANG BA – YEN MINH – DONG VAN (B + L + D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Dong Van passing by Yen Minh. On the road, stop at Quang Ba to admire the incredible scenes of the region. Visit some ethnic villages such as Dao, Hmong .... From Yen Minh, it takes around 2-3 hours to explore the beautiful valley inhabited by Dzay. Lunch at local restaurant. Then continue towards Dong Van. Stop at Pho Cao to visit the village of Hmong. At Sa Phin, visit the palace of the former king Hmong Vuong Chi Sinh, a famous historical site dating from the colonial period. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Dong Van.
DAY 5: DONG VAN – MEO VAC – BAO LAC (B + L + D)
Breakfast at hotel. In the morning, visit the colorful and typical market of Dong Van to see thousands of indigenous traditional costumes of different minorities and don't forget to buy some of the local products for souvenir. Then walk to visit the surrounding villages. Lunch at local restaurant. Depart for Meo Vac by passing through the famous Ma Pi Leng Pass at 2,000 meters high. Stop on the mountain pass to admire the breathtaking view of the valley with fields of hemp on the terrace of karst hills, stilt houses of the Hmong, Dao and the romantic and calm river Nho Que that covers the territory of Vietnam like a silk white band. Arrive in Meo Vac, visit of villages with houses imitated traditional Chinese houses and villages of the ethnic Lolo. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Bao Lac.
DAY 6: BAO LAC – CAO BANG (B + L + D)
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, possibility to visit Bao Lac market with many ethnic minorities such as Hmong, Black Lolo, Tay, San Chi. Hiking and visiting the village of Black Lolo where the small mountain tribe lives, away from modernization. Lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, depart for Cao Bang. Arrive in Cao Bang in late afternoon, free time to rest. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Cao Bang.
DAY 7: CAO BANG – BAN GIOC – NGUOM NGAO – CAO BANG (B + L + D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Ban Gioc Waterfall. On the way, visit the Nguom Ngao Cave, one of the most beautiful caves in Vietnam. It is the museum of stalactites and stalagmites. Lunch at local restaurant. Continue to the Ban Gioc Waterfall, the most famous site of the Northeast region of Vietnam. Ban Gioc Waterfall is more stunning during the rainy season (June to September) but there is water all year round. Possibility of bathing in the fall. Return to Cao Bang. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Cao Bang.
DAY 8: CAO BANG – BA BE LAKE (B + L + D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Ba Be Lake, the most beautiful lake in the northeast of Vietnam, located in the middle of a wide range of limestone mountains of Ba Be National Park. This is not only a site for romantics but also for nature lovers. Arrive in Ba Be National Park. Lunch at local restaurant or homestay. Walking Tour to visit Pac Ngoi village. It is located on the shore, to the south of Ba Be Lake, hidden in lush vegetation at the foot of a limestone cliff. It is home to the Tay ethnic group with bamboo houses resting on wooden pillars. Dinner and overnight at homestay.
DAY 9: LAC BA BE – HANOI (B + L)
Breakfast at homestay. Boat trip in the enchanting scenery of Ba Be Lake and Nang River. Visit Puong Cave. Continue cruising to the Dau Dang Waterfalls. A small pause to enjoy the beauty of this small but beautiful waterfall. Lunch at homestay. Then transfer to Hanoi. Arrival in Hanoi. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel in Hanoi.
DAY 10: HANOI – NINH BINH – HANOI (B + L)
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Ninh Binh, 100km away from Hanoi. Visit the Temples of Dinh & Le Dynasties (968 – 1009). Continue to Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam. Enjoy a sampan cruise through the caves of Tam Coc in the heart of dreamy landscapes where it is known as "Halong Bay on land". Lunch at the restaurant in town. Then discover three caves Tam Coc-Bich Dong and its Pagoda. Back to Ha Noi. In the evening, we introduce you to water puppetry, a form of art performance dated as fas as the 11th century. Dinner at the restaurant. Overnight at the hotel in Hanoi.
DAY 11: HANOI – HALONG (B + L + D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer by mini bus for Halong Bay (One of 7 New Wonders of Nature). Arrival in Halong and boarding on cruise. Lunch and dinner on board. Cruise on the emerald sea passing through countless mist-shrouded limestone islands. The balance of the junk on waves will put you easily to sleep and take you into the dream! It cannot get any more idyllic than this! Overnight on board, anchored off in middle of the bay.
DAY 12: HALONG – HANOI (Brunch)
Brunch on board (breakfast & lunch). Boat trip in Halong Bay with its many islands and islets in the suggestive shape. Visit the caves and islands and possibility of swimming. Back at the pier and transfer to Hanoi. Arrival in Hanoi. Dinner on your own. More time for you to discover about the cuisine of our capital. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.
DAY 13: HANOI - HUE (B + L)
Breakfast at the hotel. Free time in the morning and transfer to the airport for flight to Hue. Collect from the Phu Bai airport with English speaking guide and transfer to the hotel. Lunch at the restaurant in town. Excursion by boat on Perfume River for visiting Thien Mu Pagoda. Visit King Minh Mang Tomb. Dinner at the restaurant in town. Overnight at the hotel in Hue.
DAY 14: HUE (B + L)
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Hue, the ancient capital of Vietnam, renowned for its magnificient historical relics from Kings Nguyen Dynasty (1802 – 1945). Visit the Imperial City Hue, World Heritage classed by Unesco in 2003, then continue to visit Dong Ba Market where popular conic hats with poems are sold. Dinner at the restaurant. Overnight at the hotel in Hue.
DAY 15 : HUE – DANANG – HOI AN (B + L)
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Lang Co by private bus, a fishing village surrounded by coconut trees and white sands. Crossing the famous Pass of Hai Van (previously known as the Pass of The Clouds) with magnificent panoramic views from mountain tops. We make a short break for you to take in and record the breathtaking view.. Continue to Da Nang and have lunch at the restaurant in Danang. In the afternoon, visit Cham Art Museum and Marble Mountains with the names of the top 5 elements (Metal, Wood, Water, Fire and Earth). Continue to Hoi An. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel in Hoi An.
DAY 16: HOI AN (B + L)
Breakfast at the hotel. We will have a city tour of Hoi An today. Excursion by boat on Thu Bon River for about an hour to enjoy the scene along the river and to have a feel of the rural life of local fishing people. Visit Hoi An its ancient houses with original form as its architecture are still in good state of preservation. Lunch at the restaurant. In the afternoon, guided tour on foot through the small streets up to the Covered Bridge of Japanese style. Continue to visit Chinese Pagoda of Fujian style and Tan Ky House which made this city classified as World Heritage Site in 1999. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel in Hoi An.
DAY 17: HOI AN – DA NANG – SAI GON (B + D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Free time in the morning until transfer to Da Nang airport for flight DADSGN. Lunch on your own. Collect at Tan Son Nhat airport and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Free time for rest. Dinner at the restaurant. Overnight at the hotel in Saigon.
DAY 18: SAIGON (B + L)
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, visit city hall which is inaugurated in 1908, Notre Dame Cathedral built in 1877 and 1880 and the Central Post Office built on between 1886 - 1891. Lunch at the restaurant in town. In the afternoon, visit the Cholon, Thien Hau Pagoda, Phuong Nam Lacquerware and shopping at Ben Thanh Market. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel in Saigon.
DAY 19: SAIGON - DEPARTURE (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Free time until transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
